My Mission

So I thought I should make it clear to everyone who reads this blog what my mission is. My mission is to stop bullying in all schools. I know that is a tall order and people might say it is impossible, but one of my favourite quotes by a very wise girl is: "I think of 6 impossible things even before breakfast"- Alice, Alice in Wonderland. If everyone keeps the same attitude that these things are impossible then no one will be able to make it possible. Mahatma Ghandi once said: "Be the change you want to see in the world". I personally want to be that change. I think that I can make a difference because unlike all these people who say they know how to stop bullying, all these acclaimed experts lack one key ingredient that I have. I have been through it myself. I've had the worst things happen to me, and I know what works and what doesn't when it comes to dealing with bullies. I have experienced first hand what some of the supposed answers to stop bullying are. These books about bullying, and these lectures and assemblies don't work unless the person listening can relate to the presenter themselves. teenagers and students will not listen to a 50 year old guy and actually give a care about what he says. They need to have someone who is experienced who has gone through what every teenager has gone through and can tell them their experiences. Teachers can say they know what to look for and that they know how to deal with it but it isn't the case. That is why I have personally made it my mission to share my experiences, visit schools, coach teachers and principals on how to deal with bullying and how to really make it stop. I don't want to have another student go through what i went through and possibly take their life because no one could help them. People need to start realizing that bullying is a real problem and it is in their schools and they need to realize that they can't turn a blind eye because it will only get worse. So for all of you who want to help me stop bullying, Follow my blog and together we will make sure bullying becomes a thing of the past.

Sincerely yours,
Stephanie

who I am

Well my name is Stephanie. I am 18 and I am the victim of bullying. I have been bullied my entire life and I have only just recently decided to start this blog to share my story. I was a victim of bullying since i was in grade 2. I was always different not like most kids. I have a bit of a quirky side to me. I'm funny, I'm spunky and I am in all essence a target. I don't like saying it but most people think I ask to be bullied. That is not the case by any means. Yes some things I do are not what people would consider normal, but I do not feel that I need to be tormented because of it. My hopes in having this blog is to share with my readers what I went through and hopefully allow me to give support to other victims because I know first hand what they are going through. I will be an open ear and I will listen when no one else will. I want to bring forth change and I intend to do so. So this blog is for anyone who is bullied, was bullied, or wants to try to stop bullying because no one deserves to be bullied and certainly no one asks to be bullied.

Sincerely yours
Stephanie
